New Construction

New home foundations.

A new house is only as steady as what it sits on. We install engineered helical pile foundations for new construction across the Hudson Valley and the surrounding tri-state area: galvanized steel piles, each one advanced past the weak material until recorded torque confirms it has reached competent soil.

Every pile is torque-monitored in real time and recorded against the engineered load spec on the spot, so the support under your new home is measured, not assumed. We have hundreds of piles in the ground across all our work.

How we build it

Engineered first, then driven.

Torque-Verified Installation
/01

Engineered From Your Plans

We work from your plans, a soil boring, and a site inspection. Pile spec, helix configuration, and layout are engineered to the loads of the house you are building and come back as an engineered drawing for approval. Nothing goes in the ground on a guess about what is under the lot.

/02

Recorded Torque on Every Pile

Our drive head carries a torque hub that transmits a live reading to a recording device on every pile. Installation torque correlates directly to load capacity, so each pile is confirmed against the engineered spec before we move to the next one. Torque is logged in foot-pounds, the unit the crew and the device actually work in.

/03

Past the Bad Ground

Each pile goes past the weak layer until torque confirms competent soil, so that layer never holds your house up.

/04

Excavator-Driven, Excavation In-House

We install off excavators. Every job so far has needed some digging, so our own crew does it as a separate line item, with no second contractor to wait on.

/05

Galvanized Steel

The piles are galvanized North American steel, engineered to your structure's loads and installed to spec.

Fitting into the build

Ready for the next trade.

Working with your concrete crew

A lot of our work runs in conjunction with concrete companies, who often pour footers on top of our piles.

/B

Homeowner, builder, or GC

Whether you own the lot, are building the house, or are running the job as general contractor, the starting point is the same: your plans and the site address. Building something larger than a house? See our commercial work, where site assessments are free.

/C

Not every site suits piles

There are soil conditions where helical piles are the wrong answer. That gets settled in step two of the process below: the soil boring and the site inspection come before anything is engineered or installed, so the answer rests on data from your lot rather than a guess.

Adding on rather than building new?

We do addition foundations too. Tell us about the addition and send whatever plans you have.

How it works

From first call to finished.

Every project · four steps
01

Plans & Site Details

Send the site address, your plans or drawings, and anything you already know about the soil. The more you have, the tighter the number.

Site address & plans
02

Soil Boring & Inspection

A soil boring and a site inspection tell us what is actually under the lot: depth to competent soil, obstructions, and access for the machine.

Soil data
03

Engineered Drawing & Spec

Pile spec, helix configuration, and layout are engineered to the house's loads. Once the drawing is approved, we order material.

04

Torque-Verified Install

Every pile is driven until recorded torque confirms capacity, and the reading is logged against the spec.
